It was a pleasure to meet with H. E. Kim Pankyu, Korean Ambassador to Nigeria and Sierra Leone in Abuja this morning. I had the opportunity to share with the Ambassador our Transform Freetown – Transforming Lives Development Agenda and the possibility of developing a city-to-city partnership with a Korean city to strengthen ties between our two countries at the sub-national level.
Very importantly, we engaged on the #NewCityHall building and agreed on providing further training support to the city’s technical team to ensure continued effective maintenance of the building five years after Freetown City Council moved in.
I’m really excited about our continued partnership!
