Over the course of the past two days, it has been a privilege for me to participate in a two day roundtable with key stakeholders involved in the building of resilient democratization processes in West Africa. Convened in Dakar by Wilton Park, the UK government’s expert in convening international policy dialogue, the roundtable brought together senior representatives from ECOWAS, UNOWAS, AU, NDI, OSF, FCDO, Chatham House, US State Department, Afrobarometer and a number of West African elections-focused CSOs.
Within the specific context of Sierra Leone, I am even more inspired to ensure that as a member of the Tripartite Recommendations Implementation Committee, I work very hard with committee members, the APC Leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that the electoral reforms and other recommendations are fully and appropriately implemented
